local government careers brochure

“The local government careers brochure has been really useful - it is a great resource to have in our City Jobshop and for our talks to New Deal groups. I have also used the brochures as part of our ‘routeway to local government’ course, which opens up opportunities in the council for people in some of our more disadvantaged wards.”

Local government officer, Bristol City Council.

The local government careers brochure provides a general overview of local government and the wide variety of careers on offer within the sector. The brochure includes profiles from several local government employees about their work with the council, ‘focus on’ sections with more detail about specific career areas and information about where to look for jobs.
